green bean and carrot salad

i ate the perfect version of this salad this summer in arequipa, peru. the restaurant was friendly and quiet at 2 pm. i didn't do a good job of replicating this the first time i tried.

but i'm guessing at what the dressing was:
lime juice
salt
vinegar

note: try melted butter and use less lemon next time
